Make a list of friends, relatives and business partners
If you know how to add contacts to Google Voice, you can easily make calls from your computer. You can even add users outside of existing Google Contacts.
The instructions in this article apply to using Google Voice on a desktop or laptop computer.
Add contacts to Google Voice
Sign up for a Google Account to use Google Voice if you haven’t already.
To add a contact to Google Voice, you need to create a Google Contact entry for the contact. To add a new contact to Google, start by opening Google Contacts.
Select in the top left corner Contact .
Add a name, phone number, email address, and other information to add, then select Save .
A confirmation window will open. Select in the top right corner X Leave.
Import contacts to Google from a list
If you have a contact list, you can easily import it into Google:
Open Google Contacts .
Select in the left guide Lake > Import .
Select Select a file to go to the contact list.
Make sure your file matches one of the file types listed.
In the navigation pane, select Open . Your contacts are now available on Google and you can use Google Voice to call them.
