Personalize your Yahoo Mail signature with an image

This feature is no longer supported by Yahoo Mail; However, it is possible to insert images into signatures in Gmail and Outlook.

When you create an email signature in Yahoo Mail, it is added to all your outgoing emails. The rich text toolbar does not contain an option for images; but just as you can embed images in the body of a Yahoo Mail message, you can also add inline images to your signature.

Add Image to Yahoo Email Signatures

Paste an image into the signature box to include it in your signature.

  1. Select equipment in the top right corner of Yahoo Mail, then select Additional Settings

  2. Select letterboxes left.

  3. Select an email address.

  4. Scroll down the right pane and click in the box below Signature

    If the signature field is grayed out, click the radio button next to Signature to enable it.

  5. Enter your name and any other text that is part of the signature.

  6. Any photo you use in your signature must first be uploaded and made available on the online hosting website. Upload it to a site like Imgur or one of the many other hosting sites.

    The image should be small enough to see all the way to the bottom of the letter. If it’s large, resize it to better fit your email signature.

  7. Navigate to the image on the host site in the browser, right-click (or Control-click), then select from the menu To copy

  8. Place your cursor in the signature field where you want the image to appear.

  9. Right click and select Insert to place the image in the signature box.

  10. Select Save when you’re done with the caption.

  11. Open a new email in Yahoo to view your email signature.
