Send all kinds of files via email
Email is more than just sending text. You can also easily send files of any type in Outlook.
The instructions in this article apply to Outlook 2019, 2016, 2013, 2010; and Outlook for Office 365.
Attach a file to an email in Outlook
Attach one or more files to new messages, forwards and replies.
You can also use drag and drop to attach files.

Open new e-mail † forward message, or To answer to a message in your mailbox.

Select tab Insert †
If the message appears in reading corners go to the tab Message †

In a group To turn on select Appendix †
In Outlook Online, look for the icon To invest below the formatting toolbar.

Select a recent item or search to find the document you want to attach.

When attaching a file stored on OneDrive, you have two options. Select Attach as copy to attach a file.
Outlook reports that the attachment size exceeds the allowed limit; What can I do?
If the file is larger than the Outlook size limit, use a file sharing service, or if the file is less than 25 MB, increase the Outlook attachment size limit.
Remove attachment from email before sending it to Outlook
If you choose not to add an attachment, remove it from the message.

Select the attachment drop-down arrow ( ) next to the subdocument you want to delete.
