Group contacts into mailing lists to make it easier to send them via email
The ease of sending the same message to multiple recipients is one of the main advantages of email. With Yahoo Mail you can make sending even easier by creating a mailing list.
Create a Mailing List in Yahoo Mail
To set up a group mailing list in Yahoo Mail:
Click on icon Contacts at the top of the Yahoo Mail navigation bar.
Click New list on the left panel. The new list will appear below any existing Yahoo Mail lists you’ve created.
Enter what you want name for the list.
Click Enter †
Add Members to Yahoo Mailing List
To add members to the list you just created:
Click All contacts † Drag contacts to a mailing list.
Press distribution list to open it.
If you want to send an email to only some of the recipients on the list, check the box in front of their name. To send an email to all recipients in the list, check the box at the top of the list.
You can also use Assign to lists for each contact to add it to one or more lists.
Send an email to your Yahoo mailing list
And now that you’ve set up your mailing list in Yahoo Mail, you can start using it:
Click on icon Contact at the top of the left panel.
Choose a name mailing list on the left panel.
Press the button Email contacts to open an empty email window.
Enter the text of the email and send it.
