You can delete Outlook emails on iOS without opening them
If your inbox is cluttered, delete junk emails from Outlook for iPhone or iPad app. Delete one message at a time or delete several. To use swipe gestures, change the swipe options in the Outlook for iOS app to delete messages instead of archiving messages while swiping. Then, if you accidentally delete a message, restore it.
The instructions in this article apply to Outlook for iOS.
