How to Automatically Cc: and Bcc: All Email You Send in Outlook

Outlook can automatically copy (cc) or hide (ccc) any address you enter in any message you send, based on the criteria you set.

Do you want to protect your archive?

Outlook folder Sent perfect for keeping copies of all the emails you send. While this is ideal for some situations, what if you want to archive all your email in another email account, or if you want to copy your boss into a continuous series of messages?

With a simple rule, you can force Outlook to automatically send a Cc:copy of any email you create to a specific email address (or more than one).

Auto CC: All email you send in Outlook 2010 and newer

To have Outlook deliver a copy of every email you send via Cc to a specific address(es):

  1. Click File in your Outlook inbox.

  2. Go to category information

  3. Make sure the section Account Information the account for which you want to set up automatic copies is selected.

  4. Click Manage Rules and Alerts

  5. Go to the tab Email Rules

  6. Click New rule…

  7. For Step 1: choose a template make sure it is selected Apply rule to messages I send (In chapter Start with an empty line

  8. Click Next>

  9. Click Next> again.

    Via Cc you can select the criteria for the messages you want to copy; However, if you don’t select anything, all emails will be added to Cc:Recipients.

  10. If you are offered:

    In chapter This rule is applied to every message sent. It is well? Click Yes

  11. In chapter Step 1. Choose an action(s) know for sure Copy message to people or public group noted.

  12. In chapter Step 2: Edit the rule description Click people or public group

  13. Double click on all recipients (or lists) from your address book, or enter email addresses directly in the section To -> † these addresses receive copies of Cc:.

    Separate email addresses in a section To -> semicolon (

  14. Click Okay

  15. Click now Next>

  16. If necessary, in the section Are there any exceptions? specify any exceptions to the Cc: shipping rule.

  17. Click Next>

  18. As a rule before the e-mail address or addresses mentioned in the section Step 1: Give this rule a name specify something like “Auto copy”.

  19. Usually also make sure that Execute this line for messages already in the inbox not marked.

  20. Click Finished

  21. Click now Okay

Auto CC: All Email in Outlook 2007

To send an exact copy of all email sent in Outlook to a specific email address:

  1. Choose from the menu Tools Rules and warnings…

  2. Click New rule…

  3. highlight Check messages after sending

  4. Click Next>

  5. Click Next> again to copy all email sent.

    You can define any combination of criteria to copy only certain messages before clicking . click Next>

  6. If you have not specified any filter criteria, click Yes

  7. In chapter Step 1. Choose an action(s) know for sure Copy message to people or mailing list marked.

  8. Click people or mailing lists In chapter Step 2: Edit the rule description

  9. Double-tap contacts or lists in your address book, or enter an email address under To>> /.

    Separate multiple addresses with a semicolon (;).

  10. Click Okay

  11. Click Next>

  12. Click Next> again.

  13. Enter the email address already entered in step 1: Enter a name for this rule using “Cc:”.

  14. Click Finished

  15. Click OK.

Automatic Bcc: All Email You Send

You can send automatic Bcc: copies (whose recipients, unlike Cc: recipients, are hidden from all other recipients) to Outlook using Bcc automatic completions such as those created by Ablebits.
