Why block numbers?

The answers to this simple question can make up a long list. Call blocking is definitely a solution to a problem that bothers many people. Junk calls have caused many people to change their phone number which can lead to missed important calls. Reasons to consider call blocking include:

  • Your world is disrupted by unwanted calls from telemarketers, among others. You may be sleep deprived or anxious in a meeting or other important and personal life with a phone call not worthy of your attention.

  • You are being stalked by someone who shouldn’t have your number, but unfortunately you do. The call blocking feature disables unwanted callers so you don’t have to change your number.

Even if you don’t block a caller, you can handle calls in a smart way that uses your time efficiently. For example, you can forward some calls to voicemail, answer others with messages, and forward others to other numbers (this feature is called forwarding).
