See how many conversations are currently in your Gmail account
Google knows a lot about you, including what goes on in your Gmail account. You can see how many conversations are currently stored in your account, how many emails are in your Inbox, Sent, Drafts, and Trash folders, as well as the number of open chats.
Find Gmail Statistics
Open Gmail and select at the top right of the screen your profile picture (or letter) † google account †
In section Privacy and Personalization select Manage your data and personalization †
In section The things you make and do select Go to Google Dashboard †
In section Popular Google services select gmail †
When you’re done viewing your stats, you can return to Gmail by clicking GO TO GMAIL or simply by logging out.
How to get more Gmail stats
The results you find through the steps above will only show you a small statistic about your Gmail account. Previously, Google allowed users to see information such as how many emails you send each month and who you send the most emails to, but this option is no longer available.
However, there are other services that allow you to view more detailed Gmail usage statistics than Gmail itself currently offers. These services include Email Meter, which is less reliable but free, and Email Analytics, which gives you more detailed information, but is paid. These tools help you better understand productivity.
