Using the online converter

If your computer doesn’t have a built-in PDF printer and you don’t want to install one, you can always try one of the many online PDF conversion sites. Most allow you to convert any type of file (JPG, PNG, TIF, etc.), but some are type specific. Pick a conversion site that fits your needs and go from there.

If you are concerned about the privacy and security of your files, most Internet sites will automatically delete your data immediately after conversion or after a certain amount of time (1-3 hours or every 24 hours). Many also allow you to delete your files at any time so that you can delete them after downloading the converted PDFs.

Some online conversion sites have limits or restrictions, such as adding a watermark to a PDF file or allowing only one image to be converted every 60 minutes.

PDF Converter

PDF Converter is a free online converter that converts various types of image files to PDF (JPG, PNG, Tiff and more). Upload an image from your computer, your Google Drive or Dropbox. You can even upload via URL, which makes it even easier.

PDF Convert gives you several options when converting your images: convert them individually if you need separate PDFs, or you can convert multiple images at once and merge them into one PDF.

The main limitation is that unless you sign up for a paid account, you can only convert and upload one PDF every 60 minutes.

Online2PDF

Another free conversion tool, Online2PDF, gives you more control over your image conversion options. Select options for page layout and margins, image size, and orientation when converting images to PDF.

Online2PDF allows you to combine multiple images into one PDF and also gives you the option to have more than one image per page if you wish (up to nine images per page).

When choosing photos to convert, there are a few tips to keep in mind: each file must be less than 100MB, the total size of all files in a conversion must not exceed 150MB, and you can Merge 20 images at once.

JPG to PDF

JPG to PDF Converter does exactly what its name says: it converts JPG to PDF. There doesn’t seem to be a limit to the size of the JPG file to convert, but you can upload up to 20 files at a time.

Once you’ve uploaded your files, click each one to convert them to PDFs individually, or you can select them all and combine them into one PDF.

They also have an online TIFF to PDF converter that works the same way.

I Heart PDF
