How to set up Outlook Google Calendar Sync

View your Outlook and Google calendars in one convenient place

If you have Outlook and a Google G Suite account, sync Google with Outlook or Outlook with your Google Calendar to keep your calendars in one place. Google Calendar Sync updates your Google Calendar when you make changes in Outlook – and vice versa. Google Calendar Sync only works with the default calendars in Google Calendar and Outlook.

The instructions in this article apply to Outlook 2019, Outlook 2016, Outlook 2013, Outlook 2010, and Outlook for Office 365.

Outlook Set up Google Calendar sync

To sync your main Google calendar with Outlook:

  1. Download and install G Suite Sync.

  2. Open G Suite sync and enter the email address associated with your Google Apps Calendar account.

  3. Check box remember me .

  4. Select Get on .

  5. Select Get on .

  6. In the dialog box Choose an account select or enter the email address you use for your Google Apps account.

  7. Enter your Google Apps password if prompted, then select Enter .

  8. In the dialog box Google Apps Sync for Microsoft Outlook select To allow .

  9. in field Windows Search enter synchronization and select Set up a G Suite Sync user .

  10. Enter your Outlook email address and password, then select Entrance to sync your accounts automatically.
