Personalize the messages you send through Yahoo Mail
Yahoo Mail supports email signatures that are automatically added to the end of every new message you create. You can even include rich text, images, and links in your signature.
The information in this article applies to the web version of Yahoo Mail and the Yahoo Mail mobile app for Android and iOS.
Create a Yahoo Mail Signature
To add a signature to your messages with Yahoo Mail on the web:
Select equipment in the top right corner of the window and select Settings †
Select bills †
Select your Yahoo Mail account.
Scroll down and create your signature in the text field.
Yahoo Basic Mail does not support text formatting options for emails or signatures. Your email signature is displayed in plain text.
Select Save †
How to disable your Yahoo Mail signature
If you no longer want to automatically add a signature to your emails, go back to your signature settings and uncheck the box Add a signature to emails you send † Your signature will still be saved in case you want to activate it later.
Add Email Signatures in the Yahoo Mail App
To add a signature to your messages using the Yahoo Mail app:
Open the Yahoo Mail app and tap the icon Hamburger (three stacked lines) in the top left corner.
Click Settings †
Scroll down and click Signatures †
Click the switch in the top right corner of the screen to enable email signatures.
Click the text box below the email address to change the default message.
Click Finished or Back to save your signature.
