Show headers and discover the source of your incoming email
Outlook accepts messages it receives from the Internet and stores the headers and individual parts of the message regardless of the message body. When you select a message, Outlook collects the fragments to show you exactly what you want. Except when you want Outlook to display headers. By default, Outlook removes certain headers. Here’s how to set Outlook to keep the full source of email messages.
The instructions in this article apply to Outlook 2019, Outlook 2016, Outlook 2013, Outlook 2010, and Outlook for Office 365.
