Necessary material

To make your own gas burner, you will need:

  • brass cap (1/2″);
  • adapter sleeve (1/2″ to 1/2″);
  • connection (internal thread: 1/2 “, landing on the pipe: outer diameter – 20 mm, inner diameter – 15 mm);
  • coin of 50 kopecks;
  • injector – a small tube (outer diameter – 4 mm, inner – 2.5 mm);
  • copper tube (outer diameter – 8 mm, inner – 6 mm);
  • small tap with two connections (6.5 mm);
  • baluster.

Preparation and assembly of equipment

Step 1

The first step is to clean the copper pipes from oxides. We do this with any convenient tool (sandpaper, grinder, grinder, etc.).

2nd step

The edges of the adapter sleeve should be ground and shaped into a cylinder.

After that, screw the plug on it and carefully solder the threaded connection with low-temperature solder on aluminum using a conventional gas burner.

Now we drill a hole in the workpiece for the copper tube. Then we tighten it in a bolt and use a screwdriver to process a part so that it falls freely into the nozzle of the future burner. If the part moves freely after the fitting is tightened, its end may be slightly ground.

Step 3

On the edge of the cap we drill a hole for the tube of 8 mm, and at the end – 4 mm. The length of the future nozzle can be shortened and have a cylindrical shape.

Step 4

To weld the valve, it must be dismantled beforehand. This is done so that the glands inside the cock do not melt.

Change the flag if necessary.
Next, you need to solder the nozzle in a position convenient for you (right-handed / left-handed).

Step 5

At this stage, the copper tube is given the same shape as the jet of a standard burner.

We insert the finished jet into the nozzle and weld as in the photo.

We begin to assemble the faucet and solder the lower part of the jet to a low temperature lead-tin solder.

Step 6

Now you can make the pen. From the baluster we saw off the part of the desired size. We give it the necessary shape and cut out the holes. We assemble a gasoline burner. If desired, the handle can be further sanded and coated with Vaseline oil.

Step 7

Remember that the ratio of the internal diameter of the jet to the splitter holes should be 1:10. Therefore, we drill 24 holes in the part.

Tool check

To find out what temperature the burner gives, we use copper, since its melting point is 1085 °. The burner did the job with ease.

You saw how to make a gas burner with your own hands without spinning. It turned out to be powerful, miniature and inexpensive. The assembly will take about three hours, taking into account the use of the tools presented. Its cost is 350-500 rubles.
