Selecting more than one slide in PowerPoint

PowerPoint has three options when you want to select a group of slides to which you want to apply formatting, such as an animation effect or a slide transition on all slides. Use the slide sorter or the scroll bar on the left side of the screen to select a group. Switch between these two views using the icons in the status bar at the bottom of the screen.

The instructions in this article apply to PowerPoint for Office 365, PowerPoint 2019, PowerPoint 2016, and PowerPoint 2013.
