Learn how to use this feature to copy frequently used slides
If your job requires you to create a lot of PowerPoint presentations, chances are you’ll be using the same basic information over and over again. PowerPoint slide finder is a useful tool for quickly finding specific slides. Then copy that slide into your current presentation, make minor changes as needed, and you’re done.
Open the presentation you want to work on.
In the Outline/Slides pane, click the slide that precedes the slide you want to insert.
Select “Insert” > “Slides from files…”
Find a PowerPoint presentation with Slide Finder
The “Find PowerPoint Slide” dialog box opens. Click the Browse… button and locate the PowerPoint presentation file on your computer that contains the slides you want.

After you select the correct PowerPoint presentation, the dialog box will appear slide finder The slide preview and associated slide names appear.
Note the checkbox Keep original formatting in the lower left corner of the dialog box slide finder † This will be discussed later in this tutorial.

Another preview option is to view larger versions of individual slides and their titles. This makes it easier to choose the right slide.

In the dialog are slide finder you have the option to insert one or more slides, or insert all slides into a new presentation.
Advice † Press and hold to select more than one slide to insert ctrl by clicking on individual slides.

Using PowerPoint slide finder There are two options for formatting slides.
Format slides – option 1

Usage slide finder is a quick way to apply a different presentation design template to a new presentation along with the copied slide.

To keep the formatting of the original slide, check the box next to Keep original formatting † The slides you copy into a new presentation are identical to the originals.
Frequently used PowerPoint presentations can be quickly found on your computer by adding them to Recommended list in slide finder.
